Rugby tournament

The first game was against Cwmrhydyceirw when we were hoping to get pay back from football, but we lost again 2-0 (10-0).

The next game was a close game but they slipped away to get the lead. Then we had another hard game but Kyle got a last munuite try.

Football Match

The school football team had their first outing this season with a tough fixture away at Cwmrhydyceirw.  After some good football from both sides, Craigcefnparc turned on the style with a well worked move involving Kyle Rees and Ashley James, finished by Gerallt Griffiths who rifled the ball into the net for deserved lead.  The home team took the lead a few minutes later with a speculative long range effort which swerved in the wind to deceive our keeper on the day, Scott Havard-Morris.

 

With a strong wind in the second half and superior fitness levels, the home team took the score to 4-1 at the finish - the scoreline not reflecting the share of play in the match and the quality of both sides.
